About Michael
A therapist, a workforce strategist, and an advocate for people who know they're meant for more and ready to do something about it.
I was the first in my family to graduate from two universities. Growing up as the only boy with four sisters, I spent my childhood listening, helping others navigate conflict, and holding space for the people around me. Looking back, I believe God was preparing me for this work long before I had a name for it. I have felt inferior on the job, quit jobs that did not fit me, and wondered if I was enough. Over time I realized I was everything I needed to be. Now I help others get there faster.
Today I work as a licensed therapist, workforce strategist, and advocate for people who are ready to stop surviving and start thriving. My experience spans educational, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Whether I am sitting with an individual in a therapy session, coaching a manager through a leadership challenge, designing a workforce program, or speaking to a room full of executives, my approach is always the same: holistic, honest, and human. I create spaces where people do not just adapt to challenges. They grow through them.
A significant part of my clinical work is dedicated to Black men ages 16 to 70, a population that is too often underserved in mental health spaces. On the organizational side, I partner with companies, nonprofits, and institutions that are serious about building cultures where diverse talent does not just join they stay, grow, and lead. I specialize in mid-level manager development, executive wellness, and the generational dynamics that shape how teams actually perform. My belief is simple: in the face of every obstacle, choosing to thrive is not just a personal achievement. It is an act of resistance.
